Welcome to Colonel Blackinton Inn
The historic colonial charm of the Colonel Blackinton Inn provides a comfortable, cozy atmosphere for guests seeking a pleasant alternative to large hotels.
The Inn, which houses 11 guest rooms, has been created from a historic landmark known as the Blackinton Double House (circa 1850). We are less than a mile from the center of Attleboro, MA, situated on the bank of the Bungay River. Please view our Slide Show of the Colonel Blackinton Inn.
Whether you're coming in for a meal or an overnight stay, it will be our pleasure to make you feel at home here at the Colonel Blackinton Inn.
Please join our Colonel Blackinton Inn Group on Facebook to receive updates on specials & upcoming events at the Inn.
We are open for indoor and limited outdoor dining. We will be utilizing our Carriage House as additional seating. Per the new restrictions, our tables are spaced 6 feet apart and are only allowing 6 people max at a table. We have air purifiers around the dining rooms as well as windows cracked open to keep the air circulating. Please dress to a level you will be comfortable, knowing that we have fresh air circulating in the dining rooms.
We are so grateful to have you back on premise. Thank you to all who supported us throughout the shutdown & ordered our curbside dinners. We will continue to offer daily curbside pickup. Please refer to our Facebook page or Instagram for ordering and picking up procedures.
Here are some guidelines we are requesting from our on premise guests while we are under new restrictions:
Please be mindful of the time at your table. We are allotting 90 minutes for guests to dine at each table. If you seat early we do plan to have the table available for another seating and need sufficient time to sanitized each table and chairs in between. We are adhering to the new curfew that has been set in place by the governor. At 9:30 we ask that all guests finalize their payment and conclude their evening with us. We want our staff to be able to finish their work and arrive home without any issue.
If you see a friend or neighbor at another table please refrain from socializing. Please do not move the tables or chairs. We have spaced the patio and dining rooms according to guidelines. If you get up from your table please wear your mask and keep distance while waiting for the restrooms.
Finally, we are no longer valet parking. The lot is open for guests to self-park but we ask you to be cautious because it is a small lot & please keep the handicap & curbside spaces clear for guests that require those spaces.
We would like to thank you for all the support and patience you have shown us during these unprecedented times. We are taking every precaution to ensure the safety of our customers and employees during this crisis. Our sister restaurant Mac & Walt's is also open for dine in & curbside takeout!

"This place is a wonderful inn. The grounds are kept lovely. Some of the rooms are small but others are quite large. Room rates are reasonable for what you get. Sundays they have a jazz brunch and that is included as well if you stay Saturday night. We live 10 minutes away but for my birthday we have stayed on Saturday night, checked out in the morning and stayed for the brunch. It gives us a sense of getting away while we have a cat that needs medication twice a day. So I get up in the morning, run home, take care of the cat and am back in no time."
